Official warranty policy:
**30 day parts and labor**
As long as the battery was purchased within 30 days directly from us or an authorized retailer, and there is an actual manufacturer defect with the cells, balancer etc. We will replace cells or defective parts.
Shipping the battery back to the manufacturer will fall solely on the customers financial responsibility. We would recommend keeping the original shipping package and returning the battery in the package it was originally delivered in. We will not cover any additional damages from the shipping company due to poor packing. We would also recommend sending the battery back with purchased additional insurance from the shipping company to cover the total cost of the battery. Please make sure you send the battery back properly insulated and correctly labeled with a UN3480 label.
We are not responsible for theft either way of the shipping transit ever. Once repairs are complete we will calculate the return shipping costs and request a payment from you for shipping of the returned item back to you. It will be a signed delivery package or delivery at the nearest shipping office location for pickup only.
If you bypassed the signed release authorization of the package on your end of the shipment, the liability will solely be yours. Screwston lithium is not responsible if the package is not properly delivered and you released the signed delivery authorization.
We will not fully refund or replace a used battery ever for shipping damages or for minor cosmetic defects. We will only repair or replace a damaged item if that it creates a functionality or unusable issue of the product. There will be an insurance claim process we must go though 1st from the insurance company before any warranty claim repair is started. Please keep in mind every battery we assemble is hand tooled, so there will be some slight cosmetic issues during this manufacturing process such as minor scratches, dust etc.
**Lifetime labor warranty after 30 days**
Screwston lithium does provide a lifetime labor only warranty after 30 days for any reasonable reason at the clients expense for repairs or shipping. If you do something like leave your headlights on, have a parasitic draw, leave the battery active balancer attached for months on in without charging in storage, or for whatever the reason may be within normal reasoning if you wish to replace the cells at your expense, please send the item back to us and we will replace the cells/parts. Please provide the original order invoice and contact us before shipping and ship the item back. We will need to do an assessment of the damages and cost to repair/replace. Shipping costs will fall on the customer to send to me, we will send the battery/item back to you once the invoice for repairs and the return to client shipping costs are covered and battery/item is repaired.
